Why take a private lesson?
Taking private dance lessons is first and foremost about choosing an environment that suits you. Sometimes, we're not comfortable with the idea of learning in front of a group. Sometimes, we lack the time, energy, or availability to travel across Paris to a dance studio. And sometimes, we simply want to learn at home, in a familiar environment, without pressure or outside scrutiny.
All these reasons are perfectly legitimate.
Private lessons allow you to learn at your own pace, in a reassuring and supportive environment, with the teacher's undivided attention to guide you. Whether you want to progress faster, overcome a specific challenge, regain confidence, or simply discover dance gently, the lesson content is entirely tailored to your needs and goals.
It's also an excellent way to start dancing without stress, catch up mid-year our weekly classes, or prepare for a specific project (returning to group classes, an event, a party, etc.). Here, there's no group pressure, no comparisons: just you, the music, and the joy of learning to dance.

4-Step Rock at the heart of our private lessons
4-Step Rock is the core dance taught at Rock 4 You, and naturally forms the basis of our private lessons. Whether you're a complete beginner, already a dancer, or returning after a break, private lessons allow you to learn in a precise, progressive, and personalized way.
Depending on your preferences and needs, classes can focus on:

The content is entirely tailored to your level, your pace, and your goals. You work on exactly what you need, nothing more, nothing less.
What about other dances?
While 4-Step Rock remains our specialty, our instructors are versatile dancers trained in several partner dances.
If you'd like to discover or work on another dance (Waltz, Charleston, Salsa, etc.), please do not hesitate to contact us. Depending on your request and the team's availability, we'll work together to see if we can find an instructor suited to your needs.
Each request is reviewed individually to ensure you receive a cohesive, high-quality lesson that meets your expectations.

Where do the private lessons take place?
At your home
Our teachers come directly to your home, using teaching methods adapted to your available space.
This format is ideal if:

Private lessons can also take place in one of our studios, fully equipped for dance practice.
This is the ideal format if you want to benefit from a professional space, have more room to work on movement and lines, and immerse yourself in the Rock 4 You atmosphere.

Why is the price higher in our studios than at your home?
In our studios, the price includes the reservation and use of a professional dance studio for 1.5 hours.
At home, you use your own space, without rental fees, resulting in a lower price.
In both cases, the class lasts 1.5 hours and is taught by a Rock 4 You instructor.
